The only thing that would test most people is the weather, but as promised the rain clouds stayed away until the final chequered flag of the day allowing for an incredible show to take place and It really was pure petrol head heaven!

The Drift Team guys were out on track getting use to the new surface, which for some was tricky, but then soon got into the hot seat and Smoke flooding out from the tyres.

‘Dan the Plumber’s team of drifters did themselves proud out in their two demo sessions creating enough smoke, fumes & flying rubber to last us until their next visit here on 20th June at the Classic, Kit and Retro day!

The Charity Hot Laps operated by and in aid of Mission Motorsport raised a phenomenal total with their cars out on track all day returning many a delighted customer! They too will be back later in the year for the Forge Motorsport

Performance Car Action Day on 12th September.

The Club of the Show award went to the Cymraeg Scooby Club for the second year in a row and after seeing a number of their club members out with enough polish and cleaning equipment to set up their own trade stand you could see why they won!

A special mention should also go to the crowd pleasing Skoda Yeti that’s still being talked about for it’s on track performance!

Ross Parker of Infinity Exhausts reflected on this year’s show remarking how thrilled they were with its success; “The Spring Action Day is always a great event and to have the chance of hosting it alongside MCR Specialist Car & the Circuit was a massive opportunity. There are not many UK shows where you see such a variation in machinery. The combination of a vast array of car clubs and all day track action keeps everyone entertained – we’re sure to be back!”
