Rockingham Race Report Qualifying After a strong practice day on the previous Friday he knew he had better pace at Rockingham due to multiple set up changes he made during the break.

Before the qualifying session Jeffs hoped to get top 15 possibly a top 10 if he got a clear lap. Unfortunately Jeffs didn’t get a clear lap as he was held up around the last corner but this still put him on 13th which Jeffs felt happy with as he knew he could work with it especially being on the inside.

Race 1 The first few laps were carnage with lots of contact and spins so he decided to keep it on the track for the first stages of the race.

Jeffs manged to stay around 13th after the first lap of battling but felt he could push more, he started to climb the order until a red flag came out meaning a there would be a restart.

This lead to a reduced race time in which Jeffs picked up a few more places leaving him in a decent 8th place. Race 2 Starting quite high up on the grid he manged to get a good start after his teammate Ryan Dignan gave me some advice prior to the race.

From there he had to battle it out in a pack of cars all fighting for the lower ends of the top ten. After falling back a few places he had James Turkington in my mirrors putting me under pressure which drove me on to catch a few cars ahead.

After some late race overtakes he could feel the tires starting to give up but manged to finish the race in 7th place. Overall He was happy with the weekend and now confident in the new car compared to the R56 he raced last year and hope to keep getting further up the order.
