Chedder Gorge Meets the Guys from the MK 6 Ford Fiesta Group
The Southwest Group has over 100 members, who all own and drive Ford Fiesta’s from Standard to ST type. From highly modified on the outside to a race spec car who drive on track for pure speed and adrenaline.
Before the Season start’s the organiser got in touch with us, to see if we were interested in tagging along to take the photo’s and of course we dont say NO…..
After attending most of the show’s that most clubs attend i recognised a few of the cars, and could see this group is serious in what they do as a club pack, Which they come together in high spirits for the love of the car community.
Start of the day was to meet the Southwest Club at Exeter Services to meet others, and then after a short break, we then left exeter to hit Taunton. While on the way up we just had to get out the window and take some rolling shots of the team with some banter on the way to our next destination.
One car in perticular had some fun which we call the BAD ASS Dirty Diesel Spitfire which chucked out some smoke on the Motorway which left others in a nice fog…
From Taunton we headed to Bridgewater, and from there we headed to Bristol, to meet the other’s at Chedder for which we had a fair few turn up who was awaiting for us to take photo’s of the rides out on display.
After getting the kit ready, and seeing what i had to play with, i started with this group who had a pretty much perfect pitch for the shoot.
It was then time to get behind the camera and bring the cars to life, and show there true potential.
A Car that we knew was going to be on show was this nice Ford Fiesta ST Track Car by Tim Starling
We have met Tim a few times, from being at Castle Combe Events, to being on stand with us for Spring Performance and Forge Action Day and many others.
I have to say evrytime we have met he has changed something to the car to make it better.
