At the begining of the week we were offered a drive in the British Touring Car Championship for the remaining 3 rounds.
Most of the week was spent chasing a budget and luckly we secured this Thursday only to we be turned away due to a regulation issue on Rookie drivers entering into the BTCC.
However we can take a positive from this knowing in 2017 we have been offered a drive in the BTCC. Now on Friday It was time for Oulton Park, we arrived on Friday to test but due to a broken Gear box we had to spend half a day repairing this, then we changed the Gearbox only to put another broken Gearbox and finish the rest of Friday off installing this.
On Saturday with a wet and dry condition qualifying we made had the wrong stratergy leaving us half way down the field. A big crash in the first race left most of the race being completed under the safety car with little chance to move up the field.
The second race was over before it even began with our Driveshaft failing leaving no drive in the car. We are now currently second in the Championship with the championship going down to the wire at snetterton.
